FAQs
What's your booking process?
I try to make the booking process as simple as possible so we can get to the fun of planning your adventure!
Here’s how booking works:
Inquiry: It all starts when you reach out through my contact form. Tell me about your vision!
Consultation: We'll connect via phone or email to chat about your ideas, answer your initial questions, and make sure we're a great fit.
Booking: Once you decide to book, I’ll send over a digital contract for you to review and sign.
Secure Your Date: Once that's signed, you'll receive an invoice for the retainer fee. Once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, your date is officially reserved in my calendar!
How do we decide location for sessions?
The location shapes the feeling of your story.
Living along the Redwood Coast, I have a long list of amazing places where light meets ocean mist, and quiet forest paths open into golden fields.
We’ll choose a location that matches the mood you’re dreaming of, whether that’s intimate, adventurous, or somewhere in between.
If your story takes you beyond California, I’m always ready to travel. Sometimes the most meaningful backdrops are found a little off the map.
When do we get to see our photos?
I know how meaningful it is to relive the day while the memories are fresh in your heart. You'll receive a sneak peak of preview images within 24 hours.
I deliver all photos via a custom gallery
- For photoshoots: Delivery typically between 1-2 weeks.
- For wedding galleries: Delivery typically between 4-6 weeks.
I'm in! How do i book?
Please fill out the contact form here and I'll be in touch over the next 24-48 hours :)
How long do sessions last?
Portraits & family sessions take about 90 minutes.
Why 90 minutes?
I personally believe that most people require time to "warm up" to new surroundings and faces. To ensure you get the best photos possible, I always allow time to get to know my clients and lighten the mood.
I'm shy in front of the camera, please help!
I sometimes get shy in front of the camera too.
Think of a session with me like a fun project, where we're building something collaborative and lighthearted. We're turning moments into art.
Over the years, I've learned how to help people relax and just be.
Before photography, I lived in the UK as an international student and met many fantastic people from different parts of the world. This taught me to connect, listen, and help others feel comfortable.
My goal is for you to forget the camera exists, so we capture what feels honest, effortless, and most importantly, true to you.
